Craig Thomas, aged 59, Works in the Information Technology Industry. Has a Bachelor of Information Technology, Diploma in Systems Technology and is a Microsoft Certified Professional.

Craig has been an active member of the local community, as a former Director of the Fortitude Valley Chamber of Commerce he has contributed time to The Valley Safety Committee, Community consultative meetings.

Craig was the Liberal 2006 Candidate  for the State seat of Brisbane Central, gaining a 5% swing against the sitting member.

Building on his political experience, Craig ran as the Liberal Candidate in the 2007 Federal election in the seat of Griffith, beating the nation wide swing.

Craig is also a parent who is deeply concerned about the future. He is concerned about such local issues as health, roads and transport, homelessness, law and order.
